Apple’s latest revision of its Macbook Pro line brings us a new 15-inch system powered at long last by an Intel Core i7 processor clocking 2.66GHz. The new Macbook Pro also comes with discrete graphics in the form of an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512MB and a revamped method of switching between integrated and discrete graphics – promising a better user experience when viewing high-definition photos and videos. Other improvements include trackpads that are capable of “inertial scrolling” (like the iPhone) and new configuration options such as upgrading to a 1680 x 1050 high res display or opting for a 512GB solid state drive (SSD).
